 FUTURE TECH OLYMPIAD 2025: Integrating Technology & Sustainability, Skilling Students for the Future In today’s rapidly evolving world, the most valuable future skills lie at the intersection of technology and sustainability. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is committed to providing opportunities that equip students with skills relevant to the future of work and sustainable development.
 In this context, CBSE, in collaboration with IBM is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of the Future Tech Olympiad, scheduled from 15th September – 28th November 2025. The Future Tech Olympiad is a national-level platform designed to test and celebrate students’ knowledge of emerging technologies and future-ready skills.
 This year’s Future Tech Olympiad is specially focussed on Sustainability, encouraging students to explore how technology can solve real-world environmental challenges and help build a better tomorrow. Key Highlights  The Top 10 schools with maximum student participation will be felicitated at a special event.  Top-performing students will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.  All participating students will receive Certificates of Participation.  Teachers-in-charge of the best-performing schools will be specially recognized. Eligibility & Coverage  Students of Classes VII to XII from all CBSE-affiliated schools are eligible to participate.  The Olympiad will test aptitude across Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Cyber security, Augmented & Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Sustainability, and other emerging technologies. Registration & Pre-requisites  Schools must register their students online at www.futuretecholympiad.com by 5th November 2025, and must select suitable test dates before 25th November 2025. Mandatory Pre-requisite:  All participating students must complete all the modules as per the designated Learning Path before appearing for the Olympiad. These modules provide essential preparation for the Future Tech Olympiad.  Upon completion of the required learning path, students will be eligible to take the Future Tech Olympiad.  Details regarding the learning path will be provided to the schools after they register. Important Information  This Olympiad is offered free of cost to all CBSE students.  Schools registering for the Olympiad will be contacted by the team from IBM.  Principals must encourage and motivate maximum no. of students participate in this Olympiad, thereby fostering curiosity, innovation, and skills for the future.  For queries, please write to contact@futuretecholympiad.com  More information and registration are available at www.futuretecholympiad.com  You may refer is attached programme guide for more information.
